My name is Tristan Ghosh, and I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. My family history spans a few different parts of the world. On my mom's side, she's Australian and grew up in Singapore, while my grandparents are French and German. On my dad's side, he's American, and my grandparents are Indian. That mix - European, Australian, American, and Asian - has always been a central part of my life and identity.
Because of that background, I've spent a lot of time around different cultures, traditions, and ways of thinking. It's also given me the opportunity to travel often and stay connected to family abroad, which has shaped how I view the world and the types of communities and environments I gravitate toward. I'm also fortunate to hold citizenship in the US, France, and Australia, which has made it easy for me to move fluidly between different places and perspectives.
I'm currently a student at Yale, studying Computer Science, and I'm also a midfielder on the Men's Lacrosse Team. Sports have always been a central part of my life, and I'm proud to compete for the Australia National Team as part of the LA28 Olympic development pipeline. Being part of high-performance teams and devoting 35 hours a week to athletics has taught me a lot about discipline, leadership, and dealing with pressure - lessons that carry into everything else I do.
Outside the classroom and field, I'm drawn to people who build things - whether that's companies, products, tools, or communities. I spend a lot of time exploring ideas at the intersection of technology, finance, and innovative ideas, and I enjoy environments where curiosity and initiative matter.
In my free time, I'm usually outdoors: golfing, surfing, climbing, or traveling. I like cooking, meeting new people, and learning from different perspectives and experiences.
